A mention of John in an article
The Sunday Times published an article about members of famous bands going solo. Of course, there’s a mention of John. A more recent example of solo albums keeping a big band on an even keel has been the career of John Frusciante, guitarist with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Frusciante’s ability to conjure melodic riffs is a vital element of the Chili Peppers’ stadium-conquering sound, but only a tiny part of what Frusciante wants to do. Fortunately, the man’s obsessive need to make music can be catered for through the simple act of releasing solo albums (astonishingly, he once released five in one year). Of course, not five…seven.

Site updates, 16th July 2006
I am sorry for the lack of “real” updates this month, I do hope this big update will make up for everything, or at least the most of it. Yumi Yoshimura is a fan of John…

Besides that, I also really love how the snack packaging is so ‘pop.’ I really like the design. The cereal boxes, the packaging of them.

John’s little blooper at T In The Park this weekend…
I am away from home, so the media updates will be slightly late (I am coming back on 20th July in the evening), but here are some news clippings about RHCP’s performance at T In The Park on Saturday. You are all wonderful,” lead singer Anthony Kiedis said. In their first major UK show since the release of double album Stadium Arcadium, the Chilis played songs from the album, including singles Dani California and Tell Me…
