  • Speed Dealer Moms’ show postponed to a later date, perhaps August.

According to reporters on location, Speed Dealer Moms’ show that was supposed to go live like about…now, was cancelled and postponed until a later date (whenever that could be). “John and Aaron apologise to those they’re letting down”. Here’s the crowd, being told what’s going on. Just so you see it’s real. [media id=194] The thing above was meant to be a live cast for all of you, done by wonderful Moshka who’s on location. That was what the surprise was supposed to be. UPDATE: Aaron Funk/Venetian Snares, as well as the organisators, explained that the equipment was not functioning well, as they were supposed to use old machines –…

  • Speed Dealer Moms at Bangface Weekender ’09

Speed Dealer Moms are about to rave. No, really. The project that was born out of loooooooong jams in Winnipeg in August 2008, consisting of John and Venetian Snares/Aaron Funk will debut at this year’s Bangface Weekender – a rave in Camber Sands UK, the very same place where All Tomorrow’s Parties takes place. Speed Dealer Moms are a mystery You can’t stream music on their Myspace profile, because, as they say: all of our tunes are too long to fit on the side of a record or in a myspace player, so you have to imagine what they sound like. That might be better anyways because you could imagine…

The second update would be a set of photos from the same show taken by Lauren Harrity and you can find it here. The quality of these photos isn’t something you’d usually expect to see here, but with the light and the movements captured in them, they look somewhat special. Perhaps you’ll agree, perhaps you won’t. And this really short video was taken by Luis Garcia, the same wonderful person who took the photos that, according to…
