RHCP in Paris in July + rumours
(from RHCP.com) The first European summer tour date has been confirmed. Red Hot Chili Peppers will play at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, France on 06th July. The presale and public sale dates are yet to be announced. According to various unofficial sources, other possible places for the summer tour are London (how predictable, huh?), Bratislava, a couple of cities in Germany, one or two of the southern European cities and perhaps even a set at the Roskilde festival in Denmark. I shall let you know if I find something out.

RHCP to perform at Brit Awards
(thank you, Sarah!) On the award launch show on the British TV station ITV2, it was announced that RHCP will be performing. The awards are taking place at the Earl’s Court, London on 14th February. Oklahoma City show postponed due to bad weather
The last night’s RHCP show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA was postponed due to bad weather and snow storms in the area. Instead of the actual show, a local radion station played one of their old shows. The new concert date is not yet known.

Another RHCP show in Tokyo
(from RHCP.com) It was just announced that RHCP will play one more show on their Japanese tour…on Friday, 23rd March at the Tokyo Dome. The fanclub presale starts on January 16th at 10 (local time) and public tickets for this show will be available for purchase on 2nd February. Good luck!

RHCP shows in Japan: presale
RHCP official site has announced that the presale for two Japanese shows will begin at 10h local time on 4th December. The shows are: 19th March 2007 – Osaka, Japan at the Kyosera Dome Osaka 22nd March 2007 – Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Dome A little birdie told me that there will be at least 2-3 more shows in Japan, so keep on checking;)

RHCP won two AMA awards
Red Hot Chili Peppers have won the favourite alternative artist and favourite pop/rock band at the American Music Awards last night. However, as they were not present due to the tour obligations in UK; Anthony, Flea and Chad thanked for the award via the video link. John was not there, he was apparently sleeping already; so there won’t be a video clip for this on I-M.net 😉 If you’re interested in how the whole show was like, here’s a review.
