  • RHCP in The Netherlands on 24th June

RHCP official site says: Red Hot Chili Peppers will be playing Goffert Park, Nijmegan on June 24th, 2007! The Silver and Gold Member Fan Club presale will start on February 14th at 10 local time, and the public sale will begin on February 17th! So…good luck to the Dutch and those who feel Dutch;)

  • Polish concert agency reveals a RHCP show date

(thanks to wonderful Halina for the news!) Lookie here. According to this, RHCP will play in Poland on 3rd July this year. The venue is a stadium. There’s also a concert poster there and other useful information. Do not ask me where the presale starts for this, as the official site is yet to announce the rest of the shows for the European summer tour. But, apparently, the tickets can be booked. The official site announced presale for tomorrow at 10. They didn’t state how long it will last.

  • An update of the “unusual rumour” entry

You have probably seen this one already. Well, I have searched the internet, as I do not dare to bug call the concert agencies and newspapers yet and I have found a pretty much revealing article on MTS Mondo portal, the site of my mobile phone services provider. For those who are comfortable with the west-Balkans languages, here’s a link to the original article…for everyone else, here’s a translation I did: Peppers in Beograd!? Gossip or the truth? They’d promised us Rolling Stones back then and the new story among the music experts in Beograd is that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be coming here in June this year!?…

  • A little review of Desecration Smile

As the new RHCP single for the market outside of USA and Canada is out on 12th February and the song is breathtakingly beautiful (better live than on the album, though;)), I thought I’d post this beautiful review from Digital Spy, by Miriam Zendle. What a cheerful name for a song! The new single from the Chili Peppers combines melancholy verse with slightly more bouncy, sped-up harmonies and ponderings, before the verse heralds a return to the sharp twanging guitars and lead singer Anthony Kiedis and co’s decision to put the vocals slightly too high to allow for strength or not. ‘Desecration Smile’ has a great strength in John Frusciante’s…

  • RHCP to play Mexico City on 10th March!

Fanclub will have a presale from 10h on 29th to 18h on 30th January, after that the tickets will be available to general public. Congrats to the Mexicans of finally getting a show after such a long time and good luck to everyone who goes to the show:)

The official website also announced presale for the Paris tickets tomorrow morning. So, if you’re in the fanclub, you have a chance of getting them before anyone else. Good luck:)

  • An unusual tour rumour

The concert/production organisation Komuna is negotiating with the management of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers about a concert they could hold in Belgrade in 2007. In order not to repeat the last year’s story with the Rolling Stones, who were announced too early but didn’t hold the concert [EXPLANATION: it was supposed to be the last show of the tour leg cancelled when Keith Richards fell from the tree], Maksa ÄŒatović, the CEO of Komuna is being careful with his promises. “The negotiations are going on and until the end of the month we will know if we’ve managed to get a show on their European tour which will…
