Site updates

  • Site updates, 16th May 2006

Sorry for roughly one week without updates. 1)There was an issue on the server, my access to the control panel was blocked and i-m.net was therefore about to run out of space, so I couldn’t upload anything, not even post news. 2)At the same time, I had some sort of a flu. Don’t worry, nothing super-urgent happened; I believe you guys have got your hands on Stadium Arcadium in the meantime and worn it out, anyway. So, what’s new? – Fresh pics have been added to the gallery, from some posters in magazines and from the TRL performance last week. You can find them all in the gallery. – A…

The 2006 gallery was updated once again, with 30 new photos…there are pics from Kerrang, 3rd May issue; the show on 29th April in Milano, as well as some press ones, the ones from two French magazines (thanks to Audrey!), German magazines (thanks to Claudia), Australian Blunt magazine (thanks to Taya!), Guitar World July 2006 issue (thanks to Becky!). Since there are covers, some photos have been cross posted to the both galleries with magazine covers…a must for any cover-maniac 1998 gallery was updated as well, many thanks to Reimund for having found a pic that wasn’t on there. I have made one more wallpaper for you. It’s simple and…

A fast update, pictures only. These photographs were taken by Debsy, on the promo show in Hamburg, Germany on 24th April. They’re wonderful, among the best ones taken during this promotional tour. And this one was taken by Shevy in Milano on 29th April. She also sent some video clips and they will be up soon. And, at the end, the wallpapers page has been updated as well. More tomorrow, as I’m seriously ill and I can’t physically do all the updates on time. If you sent me something or asked something, I am not ignoring it, I just cannot do it all at once.

Whew! Another huge pile of stuff. And things. I ripped the TV Total interview and performance and made screencaps for you. Also, there’s a video clip of John’s stunning outro solo to Dani California. More stuff related to this event coming soon. I-M.net now has media from the 23rd April RHCP promo show in Copenhagen as well. Check this page for 8 beautiful photos taken by Frederik. He’s also filmed a couple of clips, I am in the process of editing them at the moment. If anyone has anything from the Hamburg show on 24th April, which is the only event not covered by any unofficial photos and other material…

I am sorry that I can’t do these updates faster, too many things are coming around at once, like an avalanche and I can’t always make it to the computer with broadband / can’t always follow everything fast enough. Therefore, if you have news, send ’em over and I will read them and see if they are related and reliable. So, today, there are three interviews, one from Clarin an Argentinian magazine, thanks to Isa, the one from Tribune de Geneve mentioned yesterday (many many thanks to Marie for the fast translation!) and Spin interview (with the whole band), thanks to Christina. There are also new photos in the 2006…

  • Upcoming: MTV Ãœber, Tribune de Geneve interview and TV Total

As said on the RHCP.com, the Red Hots will be this week’s “house band” on MTV Ãœber. As far as I’ve seen, the streaming version is also available. Click here for more information. There’s an interview with John on the Tribune de Geneve website (Switzerland, for those who are not that good with geography…). It’s in French, translation coming soon; since some nice people offered their help. Until then, it can be read here. A small reminder for those who live in Germany or have German TV channels on satellite or cable: The band will be on Stefan Raab’s TV Total show on Pro Sieben at 22:20 [10:20 PM] tommorow,…

On this page you will find splendid photos taken by Tibor Szabo at the concert in Bilbao on 18th April. On this one, one more temporary pic from the Dazed & Confused magazine, thanks to Laura-Marie once again. On this page, there’s my newest wallpaper waiting, based on a photo from the current issue of Spin magazine. This one has a new video clip on….from more than five years ago, but I bet you will like it. Second part coming soon. And, as the icing on the cake go here to find a fresh mp3 of the Bee Gees’ cover John did on the Paris concert on 20th April. Many…

First, I am sorry for the downtime. It was a mistake on hosting company’s behalf once again. I am still not feeling well, but I managed to crawl to the computer somehow and present you with the new stuff… There are two new wallpapers available. They’re fairly similar, both based on the letter John wrote for the Children of Future website, which no longer exists. There’s one new press pic from the 20th April concert in Paris in the gallery now. Yes, just one, sorry. If anyone has actual photos from the event or, from the one in Bilbao two days before, send it away! In the same gallery, there…

Fresh pics from the 18th April concert in the 2006 gallery are there now, thanks to JuliaCher from OHG and there’s an Australian Rolling Stone scan, thanks to Taya. Also, pics from the new issue of SPIN magazine, thanks to Becky. So, head over to the 2006 gallery. There’s also a better rip of John’s cover song from the London show mentioned in the previous post, thanks to Jen Cunningham. Now it’s 320 Kbps, so you can enjoy it even more. Get it here.

There are some photos of John from the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ secret show in London, 20 of them were taken by Jenny and two by Michelle Bevan. Please, do check them out, as they’re wonderful. Since it’s impossible to imagine a RHCP show without John singing at least one song on his own these days; he did sing one on Friday as well, a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s beautiful ballad For Emily – Wherever I May Find Her. You can now download the song at the audio page, as well as the intro jam to the show. The sound quality is not the best you’ve ever heard, so,…
