Site updates, 02nd April 2006
The Sunday update arrives right on time this time. No pun intended. Click here for screencaps from the brand new RHCP video, Dani California, which hasn’t been aired on any TV channel yet, solely on MTV and Vh1 websites. John’s doing impressions of various people there so…enjoy. The 2006 magazines gallery has been updated with improved and new scans from Visions magazine, this time done by me; as well as the Q Magazine scans, which were scanned by Abby from Irerland and Amina from UK, since my copy of the magazine isn’t here yet. There’s also the Q article, many thanks to mysterygirl from RHCP BBS who typed it out.…

New (old) interview clip, screencaps and more…
This time the weekend update is late again. Oh well, you’ll agree that life is upredictable. There have been quite a few updates in the gallery, in the screencaps subsection: Road Trippin screencaps have been redone, I am sorry that they were broken for a couple of days. Universally Speaking screencaps have been redone as well. Now there’s actually more than one. Screencaps from making of 6 different RHCP videos are also there. A famous interview clip from 2001 has been added to the site, due to numerous requests for me to put it up if I have it. The German TV station Viva II no longer exists but, during…

A bit of this, a bit of that…
The regular Sunday big update is slowly becoming the regular extremely-early-in-the-morning Monday update. But, well, it’s still there. There are two new fans’ covers of John’s songs. Bob covered For Air and Dan Littlefield covered The First Season. In the fanart section, there’s a fabulous painting done by Julie. Fans have obviously been very inspired these days, so I’m presenting you with an alternative-style poem by Rodrigo, made by combining titles of John’s songs. There’s a new gallery of pics from the 2005 ATP festival, by Dan. It contains solely one photo, but it’s damn worth it. Also, thanks to Rich who sent it to i-m.net on Dan’s behalf. So,…

A huge update for the end of a short month
This was supposed to be posted one day earlier, even two days earlier, but I was busy…and I also figured out that some of the things I wanted you to see right now won’t surface before March so…here’s a massive update to the galleries to end February in a positive mood. 😉 Sooooo… …there are new pics in the 1991-1992 and this year galleries. Also, there are three new sets of images. These were taken by Sarah, who was among the lucky people who experienced John at the ATP festival last year. The pics are very emotional, taken in right moments, so, don’t complain about their quality, because it’s not…

Problem fixed & an article recommendation
The non-working links to the Hyde Park ’04 video clips have been fixed (thanks to David for telling me about this mistake), I apologise for the problem. They work now. And this is a very interesting read. It’s about Ryan Hewitt, but it’s pretty much related to John: http://mixonline.com/mag/audio_la_grapevine_84/

Per request and following the routine
This is going to be a short update. There are a couple of the Hyde Park 2004 video clips added to their special page, so go there and have a look. And there are 4 new fanart pieces, two by QC and two by Stefania (“Hillel”). Enjoy them. Oh, by the way, I caught IPs of some of you who wanted to be humorous in the guestbook. Watch out what you’re doing, it’s not that hard to figure out who was the poster behind the alias. 😐

The promised update
Here it is, the sentimental update on the sentimental holiday… A very nice interview was added to the videos section, I suggest you to check it out. There are also three beautiful new photos (thanks to Julia Cher from OHG once again) in the 2006 photos section, so head over to the gallery right now. And, to make it even more 14th February-ish, there are also new icons/avatars. For those who don’t have the eyes of a beholder…there’s a new poll and I have made a separate page with other polls. There’s a separate page for the calendar as well, since there are too many dates. So, happy Valentine’s day/sv.…

The Sunday night update…
…which, naturally, continues onto Saturday evening update. Everyone needs some sleep on weekends. The gallery reorganisation continues, the next ones to reorganise were the 1970-1987, 1988-1990, 1991-1992, 2000, 2001 and the 2006 pages. 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 will be there as soon as possible. Until then, it’s highly recommended to check the existing galleries…I know what I’m talking about, believe me. The fanstuff section has been updated with two of the fans’ poems and some fanart that was supposed to be added, well, months ago. One of those poems has been really published, the author is a writer with a couple of other poetry books in his back catalogue,…

A Saturday night update
The gallery » magazine photos subsection is going through a major reconstruction at the moment: one of those changes is that years from 1998 on will be given its own sections. In fact, the 1998 and 1999 sections have already been completed (and yes, some new photos are in there as well, check them out) and I’m working on 2000 and 2001 at the moment. Head over to the gallery, also because the 1993-1997 section has been revamped and rebuilt and there are two images even in there. And, the picture representing one of the desktop icons sets was updated, sorry that I didn’t notice than one of the icons…

New stuff on the site
Sorry for one more delayed update. One of the other sites on this server suddenly appeared to have 1.5 Gbytes of porn uploaded to it by an unknown person…so, I spent the week dealing with that and trying to find out what happened. It’s all OK now, so, here’s what’s new: There’s a new downloadable video…you asked for the ARTE Performance 12 special from 2004, you got it! It was quite stressful to find someone who has a VCR (I never owned one myself) and enough knowledge to rip the file to the computer and so on…but it worked. Enjoy this wonderful footage of John’s performance with Michael Rother and,…
