  • Site updates, 06th August 2006 – scans and transcripts

OK…this update is totally dedicated to the magazine scans, which have been added to the site in a sickening amount today, by popular demand. And there’s more to come, as I was asked for some other magazine articles that I happen to have. So, what’s new? Scans: AP July 1999 Rock Sound ? 2002 Mojo July 2004 LA Times 8th January 2005 GW Acoustic May/June 2005 Kerrang! 29th April 2006 Dazed & Confused May 2006 Kerrang! 6th May 2006 Blender June 2006 Total Guitar August 2006 Guitar One September 2006 Transcripts: Total Guitar April 2004 Guitarist April 2004 Guitar Techniques July 2006 Total Guitar August 2006 Many thanks to Nella,…

As the second leg of the European tour is over, there are even more photos from it…as well as some more from the first leg. So… New 1st leg photos: Pink Pop by Eef van Winjdgaarden, Dortmund #1 by Michael Plinski and Berlin by Tibblu. New 2nd leg photos: T In The Park by Dave L, Manchester #2 by Dave L, London #2 by Kim and London #3 by Shadowsteed. As far as the photos unreleated to this tour are concerned, Dave L also donated his photos from the 2004 Edinburgh concert, the one held at the Murrayfield stadium. Please, do check them out here. Some vids most likely coming…

I am sorry for the lack of “real” updates this month, I do hope this big update will make up for everything, or at least the most of it. At some points this week I almost didn’t feel like living… but here it is, an update. The previously non-working link to the Fuse interview [alternate angle] is working now. If any other clip is leading you to an error page or downloading an error page (something like 404.php), please do tell me so and I shall fix the problem. It also appears I have never linked the uploaded intro from the 31st May RHCP show in Barcelona. Apologises to NY…

One more big update and that’s still not everything concerning the 1st leg of the European tour. As far as the video clips are concerned, there’s the Fuse.tv interview clip in better quality and from different angle, a clip of the question John responds to at this year’s AOL Sessions feat. RHCP, two videos taken by Esther and four taken by NY Fan in Barcelona on 31st May, one taken by Soraia at Rock In Rio, one taken by KeopsG and one by Davidsauron in Madrid and finally, one taken by Claudia Krug in Berlin. So, check out the new clips. I managed to scan one more interview, the one…

Sorry for the lack of big updates this week, it all got a bit hectic. Now that the first leg of the European tour is over, there is some time. Some reorganisation is due in the 2006 picture gallery, so please have patience. As for the concert photos from this leg of the tour, so far, invisible-movement.net has got only three sets of those – two from Rock In Rio and one from Berlin. If you have photos from any of the concerts of this tour and you feel like sharing them with the others, please email them to me, I will put your copyright on them and upload them…

Since there’s more and more to add to this website every day, the gallery and press sections will undergo some tidying-up, the same way it occured with the download section last week. The gallery now has three sections: press photos, live photos and screencaps/stills. In the first section, there’s a new category, for the full scans of magazine articles on John and the Red Hots. I, and a couple of wonderful people, have scanned magazine covers, index pages, faces of CDs, tabs and everything else included in magazine features, hope you will enjoy it. So far, the following has been scanned completely: John interview from May 2005 issue of Total…

(continuing, as I promised a couple of days ago…) Isn’t today an extremely funny calendar date? New layout! Before anyone accuses me of copying the official RHCP site…I had made my first layout with film strips in 2002. I love film strips. Anyway, this layout should be more dial-up-friendly (less scripts, less images), as well as more Firefox and Opera-friendly (tested on the newer versions of both of those browsers). As usual, the recommended screen resolution is 1024×768, although the site works in 800×600 as well. Since layouts usually mean some additional inspiration for graphics, check the new wallpaper featuring John’s writing from the Stadium Arcadium special edition black box…

  • Another RHCP show for Boston

As the RHCP official site suggested, there will be an additional RHCP show in Boston, on 2nd October. Same rules as for the other shows will apply, unless you’re the second cousin of the band’s cleaning lady’s great aunt or something like that: the contest for sidestage passes and picking up the ticket on the day of the concert at the venue with the matching credit card and ID. Also, the band is on the cover of Rolling Stone, 1st June issue. Read it here. I will add it to the site archive a bit later. The cover image is to your left.

It’s been a while since I added something to the site, but it’s all for the better. The videos section has been completely revamped and now it will be much easier to search for clips. And, what’s even better, there are 18 new clips: six clips from the Coppenhagen promo on 23rd April, thanks to Frederik, four clips from the Milano promo on 29th April, thanks to Shevy, How Deep Is Your Love from the Paris promo on 20th April and the KRQQ Weenie Roast on 13th May, four more clips from the NYC promo on 8th May, thanks to Stephanie Cruz and Morris, and John’s complete Under The Bridge…

Some new audio has been added to the site. The first one is an interview from the Radio 1, UK; in two parts. Many thanks to Adam for the recording. There are also two more live covers: For Emily (Wherever I May Find Her) from Milano last month and How Deep Is Your Love from the KRQQ Weenie roast event on 13th May (thanks to Alex!). So, head to audio section. Both of these covers are available in the videos section as well, which has had its biggest update so far. There are also two short interview clips from last month, one complete interview; an improved version of the 2001 Valentine’s…
