March 2009 roundup

‘Allo, ‘allo! March 2009 was over and done with yestersday; so it’s the time to round it up. This month would’ve been quiet if there wasn’t for everyone’s contributions that actually made many things more interesting. Of course, given that there’s always silence before the storm, April and May will probably be a blast. So, the highlights of March 2009 were simply – YOU.

The highlights of this month would have to be everyone’s participation in the site’s third donation rally. I don’t know if you guys want to be mentioned by your names; but there was quite a few donators and despite the recession going on all around the world and there being TWO hosting accounts for two separate domains, both this site and the board – which hit and surpassed 3000 registered users; will be comfortably hosted until sometime next year.

The other highlight was A Book Of Suns; a project that 250+ people applied for and 119 of them actually completed it. I think it’s one of the best examples of team work I’d ever seen

Here’s what else made March 2009 what it was!

Do something nice
Preceeded by a huge thanks to everyone who took the advice in January and February and purchased the War Child compilation; this time the only thing I’m asking of you is to be nice to your elders. They might need you someday and you might need them, too. Thanks.
