Site updates, 18th August 2008
Today happens to be Invisible Movement message board’s thrid anniversary. There’s no party thread or anything this time, as a much more important reason to celebrate for both the site and the message board is set to take its place sometime in September or October. If you don’t know what that occasion might be, here’s a clue: numbers. The board has been really active for the last couple of months, especially since the transfer to a faster server a couple of weeks ago, and currently there are more than 2200 registered members. In order to assure that everyone is nice and polite and that some things people can get away…

Site updates, 08th August 2008
Before the updates are listed and before you all glue yourselves in front of the TV and leave me alone for two weeks; I would like to ask you guys if the site seems significantly faster for you after the server upgrade last week (apart from the little issue it had in the morning hours today – I’m talking about the short-term screwups it had before). And here’s a short list of updates for the triple eight: One set of magazine scans Two sets of press photographs Some more album artwork scans & co Excellent drawings by Clémence Some more of Leni’s wallpapers One new video clip Two audio files…

Site updates, 25th July 2008
After a certain delay, as the computer is *somehow* working again; here is a proper site update. Before you read more on the update, read the following lines if you sent any site-related email after 10th-15th June or so and have not got a reply yet. And, just in case some of you don’t see the sentence, I’m repeating it. Before you read more on the update, read the following lines if you sent any site-related email after 10th-15th June or so and have not got a reply yet. I’m VERY busy with work at the moment and all I ask you guys is to respect that. I’ll get back…

Site updates, 23rd June 2008
Some may have the first day of summer, some may have the first day of winter yesterday; but regardless of the hemisphere you live in, these updates are not going to appear upside-down. To people who understand the importance of the other little banner: a link to the Italian charity has been added (thank you, Stefano!). If you have time to save someone’s life, do it. Someone might be thankful to you forever. All the regular updates are listed below. System update Four sets of live photos from 2007 Four sets of magazine scans, from 1991 and 2001 More digital and traditional art pieces An update of the famous font…

Site updates, 13th June 2008
You might notice that it has been a while since the most recent update. Well, the period between updates is usually a week, but it all depends on the other things that need to be done, as well as the status of some things included in the update, so…let’s say that this update was delayed for right reasons. And I hope you will enjoy it, as it contains something many people asked for; and, amongst other things, an almost 11-year-old set of magazine scans. Sometimes it’s interesting to take a different view at things and remember how all is relative. You’ll have to read the details of this update to…

Site updates, 26th May 2008
This update has been delayed again; as this weird machine apparently has a mind of its own and is often acting like a wild beast without my prior agreement. It burned a bunch of USB devices, too. But with this update, I hope your RSS feed will be burnin’ as well. Also, thanks to the person who reported that the info page wasn’t working. It was accidentally whipped out, now it’s back; as well as all of its subpages. And, this is important: deadline for the competition has been extended and now you can submit your work of art until 15th June 2008. Niandra LaDes press kit images and transcript…

Site updates, 12th May 2008 – containing NEW live photos!
A promise is a promise and I promised that the next update will come a bit sooner than one week after the previous one, which was pretty much late. So, here are some more goodies to brighten up your day. And please, if you can and if it’s safe to do so where you are, remember that yesterday was the blood donors’ day, give blood and save a life. Today’s update wasn’t mean to be this much different, but the wonderful Tatiana of one of our friend-sites, JohnFrusciante.it somehow found out that John was playing with one of the bands he’ll be collaborating with, AchoZen on 22nd April, which is,…

10 years from a special day
Today is Tuesday, 29th April 2008. To some people, it could be just any other Tuesday. On Invisible Movement, we’re going to celebrate. Ten years ago, MTV, which had only an ugly, hand-edited and not-so-often-updated HTML site back then; posted the following news on their news page: Former Red Hot Chili Pepper guitarist John Frusciante will be returning to the band he left six years ago, filling the position left open by the recent departure of Dave Navarro. Frusciante’s return to the fold was confirmed by Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis when he stopped by MTV’s New York studios earlier this week, although there’s still no word when a new album…
